In 2009, John Kondratow opened the doors to South Jersey Subs. Growing up in Atlantic City, John was no stranger to an amazing Jersey Shore boardwalk sub. With the lack of a true Jersey sub in Colorado Springs, he felt obligated to bring a real sub to town with the freshest natural ingredients and authentic Jersey-style bread made specifically for South Jersey Subs.
As the years passed, John served an entire family from New Jersey since opening day and became close to them while he ran other businesses. This family loved his subs so much as every bite took them "home." They offered for years to buy South Jersey Subs from John. Finally, after some time, the transition was made to a family that cares for each sandwich as much as John does.
